In todays society there is very little one can count on. However two things that one can always count on is Wit and Wisdom. They always abound. So here is a little foray into my mind. Welcome to what I think about everyday.

WASL-Palooza

Okay, so I'm starting to get ticked off by the WASL. First off, everything you do in school nowadays is just to get you ready for the WASL. The school system isn't teaching us anything but how to take a WASL.

Note to the universe: If a test is so hard to figure out that you have to study how to take it... THEN WHY ARE WE TAKING IT? It's obviously confusing!

Here's a novel concept, make a test that consists of what they actually should be teaching us. Rather than just giving us WASL prompts to do something.

It's honestly ticking me off.

So have fun in a world of WASL-Palooza.

Someone will probably ask this so: The WASL is a waste-of-time of test that is like filling in bubbles and it's boring and I don't even care about how I do on the WASL anymore. They are making us take it almost every year now.

I want to learn about stuff, not learn about how to take a test about the stuff we're supposed to be learning! Why not teach us the actual stuff instead?

Who knows? Maybe they'll even test us on how to take the WASL. A test on how to take a test. Ridiculous, almost as the WASL itself.

Amen to that, Mr. Milkman, amen to that. I heartily agree with what you say. In fact, I could not have put it better myself. We should just sue. That's always the answer to everything, as society today is teaching us - hey, you should write about that! Well, anyway, amen to that.
